Dearest Sweetie;
Your a good influence hon. Am doing something this Christmas that hasn’t been done (by me) for some five years, sending Christmas cards--almost twenty of ‘em. Now since my choices for presents are known to be terrifically bad, here’s what I want you to do. Buy something for both my parents and your mom--think its still possible for me to furnish a nickle. Kinda a silent partner--the one with the money and not the brains. Think I should send Hap & family and Barb at least a card too~don’t you? Now if you would be so kind as to forward their addresses.
Whatta a bloody fine life this is going to be. Was getting tired of doing nothing at the receiving station but now~Gad its even less. They hold no reveille(?), so if a person desires to arise, he puts in a call.

When and if he gets up, straight for the gallery he goes, (after a fast face wash natch) Upon arrival, no journey cuz its only 15 feet from the living compartment, he places his order for breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hot-cakes, toast, coffee and various other non-essentials standing around in open cans. After the morning meal, one generally takes his deck chair and goes aft for a short bask and a smoke. Along toward ten, the sun becomes rather warmish, so you move the chair ‘neath the awning. Here, it is possible to while(?) away the fleeting minutes until noon luncheon. The midday repast, and again to the shady spot. Of course if ones ambition soars to unknown heights, he can play ball or swim or go ashore. Very few have that energy. For those that are still tired, the afternoon is a day (½) of rest and contentment. Sat and doze, very similar to those cartoons of big “old mens” clubs where they just watch the world go by-tis a life hon, yes indeed. With you, I could honeymoon a life away right here
Love
Kenny Lee
